CMSD students go green

As second graders at Cleveland’s Mound K-8 School learned about protecting the environment, TDA architect Bob Orovets spoke to the class—educating students on what makes their school “green” and why this practice is important.  Students then built environmentally-friendly buildings of their own.  Their solar energy village is currently on display at Third Federal Savings in Ohio City.

Mound K-8 School is the first in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District to receive LEED Gold Certification.
